There I said it. I'm lazy.
I just won't run. I don't know why. I just don't feel up to it. My gosh, it's so difficult to just get out there and run! They weren't kidding when they said my generation is a bunch of couch potatoes. I'm just so exhausted these days- and I'm only 16! This is bad news.
Anyway, my P.E. teacher let us know that our mid-term will be based on physical fitness, which might include the mile. The last day of school is March 12, which is two weeks from now. So I'm assuming I have about a week to get better at my mile. To do so, I'm going to try my best to run twice a day next week.
For the past week I've attempted to wake up at 5 A.M. for a morning run before school. Didn't not work too well. I'm gonna make another attempt at an early rise this weekend. Here's my early rising plan:
Saturday: 6:00
Sunday: 5:30
Monday: 5:00
We'll see how that works out...
Yesterday I went on a walk to check out the 5K course I'm doing March 6th. When I reached the turn around point, I decided to keep walking. I took a bunch of pictures, but here are two, not-so-flattering-but-decent, of me:
